Brow lamination and lash lift kits make the perfect purchase if you’ve just started offering these services to your clients. They contain all the tools, liquids and lotions you’ll need to perform a lash lift or a brow lamination from start to finish and are often more cost-effective than buying all the items individually. They’re also ideal if you train others in these procedures as you only need to take the kit to a training session and nothing extra.
We’ll take a closer look at these beauty treatments, why you might want to offer them at your salon, and what makes a Flawless kit such a savvy buy.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent beauty treatment that lifts and curls the natural lash. This makes lashes look longer and fuller, opening up the eye for a beautiful look without the need for eyelash extensions.
The Flawless Lash Lift is more akin to lash lamination; the last step of the treatment nourishes the curled lashes with vitamins to make them healthier and stronger. You may also hear the term LVL Lashes, which stands for Length, Volume and Lift.
The procedure is not to be confused with an old-fashioned lash perm, which uses much harsher chemicals and is not considered safe by many leading lash artists.
How long does lash lift last?
A lash lift lasts up to 6-8 weeks, as it is dependent on the stage of the natural lash growth cycle. Because there are no lash extensions involved, there is no need for infills. It’s safe to book a second lash lift after a minimum of 6 weeks if your lift has not lasted the full 8 weeks.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a procedure designed to create full-looking and beautifully shaped brows with a smooth and shiny on-trend finish. Brow hairs are brushed to create the desired shape - usually, the front of the brow is brushed up, the main body of the brow in a 45-degree angle and the end is sculpted down towards the ear. Professional lotions are used to set the shape, and make the brows appear fuller and shinier.
They are usually also tinted to give them a more prominent appearance. The treatment is sometimes referred to as a brow lift - though this name may lead to confusion with the surgical procedure.
How long does brow lamination last?
Brow lamination lasts 4-6 weeks. It’s a great choice for anyone who finds themself spending a lot of time styling their brows on a daily basis, whether that be because they have thinner brows that need building up, or fuller brows that need taming.
While the fuller and look and shine remains, the original brow shape from the treatment will hold for 2-3 days, after which it will need a little aftercare/maintenance. Between lamination treatments, we recommend Brow Sculpt from Flawless Lashes by Loreta. It offers brilliant hold and beautiful brow sculpture, with no crispy or hardened hairs in sight - unlike some harsher brow styling products on the market.
